Take the lead

There's no denying it’s difficult at the front of the pack, but can you be taught skills that will let you lead better? Christopher Andrews investigates.

The voluntary sector is renowned for producing inspiring leaders, capable of driving organisations forward and achieving some miraculous things, often with limited resources. Names like Leonard Cheshire, Baroness Ryder and Thomas Barnardo immediately come to mind.
